Q: What comes in a campervan?
A: Campervans come in a range of sizes and shapes and most come with gas stove, fridge, microwave and some even have a toilet and shower. Equipment includes crockery, cups, cutlery, saucepans, frying pans, mixing bowls, cooking utensils, chopping board, kettle, toaster, tea towel and storage containers to allow you to prepare food and cook easily.  Linen and bedding is also provided and includes pillow, pillowcase, duvet (doona) or sleeping bag, sheet and towel per person. 
 
Q: Do I need a special (heavy duty) drivers licence?
A: No.  You will be required to show a current and full (i.e. no probationary licences are accepted) motor vehicle drivers licence. Overseas licences are also accepted provided that they are printed in English. If they are not in English an international driving permit is required to accompany the foreign licence.
 
Q: Are there any age restrictions?
A: Drivers must be 21 years of age or over. In the Mighty range there are some vehicles available for drivers 18 years or over but a full licence (ie non probationary) is still required.
 
Q: Is the motorhome insured?
A: Yes the motorhome is rented with full comprehensive insurance. You will need to refer to the rental agreement Terms and Conditions for information regarding exclusions. The Liability (Excess) and reduction options vary for the different campervans.  
 
Q: Can I hire additional items?
A: Yes, we have a range of additional products available including picnic table and chairs, tents, baby/booster seats, heater/fans. You can either purchase these items individually or purchase an 'all inclusive' option in addition to your daily hire rate.  Please ask your consultant about the 'all inclusive packages'.
 
Q: Can I return the campervan after hours?
A: No, usually the vehicle needs to be returned by 4:00pm at the latest. If the vehicle is returned after hours, this may lead to an extra days rental.  
 
Q: What happens if I breakdown
A: We have a 24/7 on road assistance and customer care team available to help. Any problems incurred should be reported as soon as possible to enable rectification during the rental. The toll free number is 1800 331 454.
 
Q: Can I extend the rental period
A: Yes this can be arranged but is subject to availability of the campervan that you have rented. 
 
Q: Can I take the motorhome on dirt roads
A: Yes, provided it's a well-maintained access road of less than 12 kilometres to recognised campgrounds. Some other roads are permissible and details of these are listed in our Terms and Conditions.
 
Q: Do I need soft sided baggage?
A: Yes, it is recommended to pack soft luggage instead of suitcases for easier storage in the luggage compartments.
 
Q: Can I pick up at one branch and drop off at another?
A: Yes, one way rentals are available but a surcharge and minimum hire period may apply. 
 
Q: How is the hire charged?
A: Motorhome hires are charged for every calendar day of the hire.
 
Q: Is there a minimum rental duration?
A: Yes, depending on the vehicle hired, there could be a minimum of 3, 5 or 7 day hire.  
 
Q: Where can I stay?
A: Australia and New Zealand has an extensive network of holiday parks in all major tourist centres and in most towns and they have the provision for you to plug your vehicle into 240V mains power for vehicles that feature heating and/or microwaves. Holiday parks offer excellent recreational facilities as well as resources to dispose of your waste water.
