Can I modify / extend my booking?

You can modify and extend your reservation by using the same booking channel as the one used for your reservation.

You can manage your booking online by yourself to save time:

It's possible if you have an Europcar Account, or booked directly on the Europcar.com with your email address


👉 Steps to modify your booking via your account:

You may log into your account on the website first and after click on the "existing Booking" tab, as shown below.



👉 Steps to modify your booking via "Manage your booking" section:


1. You may click directly on this link to be transfer to the "Manage the booking" feature.


You need to have:

  • Email address or name used to book
  • Reservation number : you can find it in your confirmation email received just after your booking


2. You will arive on this page, you have to click on the yellow button "modify my booking"



3. You will arrive on this page below, just modify your booking and click on search to see the vehicle results.


4. Choose your vehicle, the amount updated will appear in the next page.


5. You will find extras if you want to add it, and you will find the new price at the right corner of the page. You will be refund from your first payment and need to do a new payment with the new amount



Please note that you can modify or extend your rental face to face with a Europcar representative at a Europcar location or you can call the local station, please use our Station Finder to find the number of the station, or you can call one of our Reservation teams to extend the rental by contacting us.


No modifications can be made on bookings linked to a Europcar Driver ID/Account number if you are not logged in using this same Driver ID.


💡 If you have prepaid your booking online, any modification will automatically result in a Cancel and Rebook, which means that a second payment would need to be made for the amendment. The amount previously debited for your initial booking will be refunded to the payment card on which it was made. You will receive a confirmation of any amendment by email.


Modify the booking in the Station:


Please be advised that you are also able to amend your booking directly at the rental station. Any modification resulting in a vehicle upgrade or added extra options will incur additional charges.


If you made your reservation through a third-party partner such as Rentalcars.com, Expedia, Booking.com, Auto Europe…

Please contact the respective partner directly for any modifications or cancellation.

  • Be aware that you can only modify or cancel a reservation that you made online yourself.
  • Reservations made or modified by our Reservations Service Center, a Travel agency, or a Third-party website (such as Expedia) cannot be amended online

Example:


👉 Customer made a booking via Expedia. (ex third party: Expedia, Booking.com, Rentalcars.com, …)


👉 He needs to make some changes (ex: add more days to his booking) Customer has to reach out to Expedia Customer Service if he needs to make any changes.
