You will be designated a vehicle in the selected class you have booked which may consist of similar makes and models.
The SuperFlex plan requires a minimum of 30 days at a very competitive price.
You can return your vehicle to any Europcar station, however a One Way Fee may apply.
There are two different packages you may choose from: 3,000 or 5,000 kilometres per month. This cannot be altered after you check-out the vehicle.
Kilometres is one of the major factors in defining how much your agreement plan will cost. If you exceed your chosen kilometres then at the end of the rental period we will charge you for the number of kilometres you have travelled over and above the inclusive kilometre allowance in the relevant period.
For example, if you opt for the 3,000 inclusive kilometres allowance per month over a rental period of 7 months you actually travel 24,000 kilometres then we will charge you for 3,000 excess kilometres. If the excess kilometre charge is stated in the Tariff Guide to be 0.30c per kilometre then you would be charged $900.
In this example, it may actually be more economical for you to consider taking the higher inclusive kilometre allowance of 5,000 kilometres rather than paying excess kilometre charges. It is therefore vital to choose a kilometre allowance that reflects your driving habits. So that you arrive at the best inclusive annual kilometre allowance for your needs you should take a measurement of how many kilometres you travel currently in an average month and multiply it by 12.
Be sure to bear in mind any seasonal differences in your driving behaviour that might occur during the rental period to make your estimation as accurate as possible.
As the registered keeper of the vehicle we receive notices of all fines incurred and speeding offences committed whilst it is under the care, custody and control of our customers. We also comply with our legal obligation to pass on the driver's details to the relevant authority in the case of speeding offences.
It is the responsibility of the relevant authority to send you the violation infringement. Once you receive the infringement you will need to follow the instructions in order to pay the fine.
Please link your rental vehicle to your New Zealand Tourism Agency (NZTA) account before using a toll road. The toll transaction is then loaded against your account and automatically deducted by NZTA. For more information, such as setting up an account or other payment methods available, please visit the New Zealand Tourism Agency.
