Days are based on a 24 hour rental period. Bonus Points applies to base cost (time and kilometres) of rental only.
If you are a member of the Fly Buys NZ loyalty programme, all your qualifying Europcar rentals accrue the benefits according to the earn rules and regulations. To ensure the applicable points are attributed to your account:
- You must be the named driver on the rental agreement and the Fly Buys cardholder
- You are required to present your applicable card number at the time of booking and at vehicle collection
- You can only earn rewards/benefits for one rental at any one time
Points are issued on the base rate (time and kilometre) of rental only. Points are not issued on premium location surcharge, fuel, cover products, admin fees, GST and other miscellaneous charges
Points may not be issued on rentals over 30 consecutive days, staff rates, corporate rates, redemption bookings, tour or certain travel industry rates, insurance and leasing vehicle rates, Europcar mini-lease rates, complimentary rentals, rental products such as ski racks, infant seats etc
Fly Buys points will be awarded for Europcar rentals at selected Europcar locations when booking directly via Europcar using your Fly Buys New Zealand member number. For pick-ups in New Zealand or Australia, collect 5 point for every NZD/AUD$20 spent
For pick-ups at Europcar corporate locations outside of Australia or New Zealand (France, UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Belgium & Italy), collect a total of 20 points per rental when booking directly via Europcar New Zealand using your Fly Buys New Zealand member number.
In addition to Privilege membership, only one loyalty points program may be nominated per rental and the renter name must be the same as the membership name of that particular program.

An online reservation restriction of at least four hours prior to vehicle pick up applies.
Extra charges may apply to options you select, if you do not return the vehicle to the same pick up location or return the vehicle late, or if you do not return the vehicle full of fuel unless the prepaid fuel option is purchased, or if you incur infringements or use toll roads.
Valid to all passenger vehicle classes, including prestige. Standard passenger vehicles include unlimited kilometres in metropolitan areas for up to 14 days, 200km per day for rentals in Country areas and 100km per day in Remote areas including all locations in the Northern Territory. For prestige vehicles 1-29 days 200 kms free per day, 30+ days 100 kms free per day with additional kilometres charged per kilometre.
If there is Damage, theft of the Vehicle or Third Party Loss you must also pay up to the standard Damage Liability Fee (DLF).
Optional Damage Cover Products may be purchased to reduce your liability, but there may be no cover under some circumstances.
